Children & Youth

Children and young people are important to us at St. Columba’s. We want every child and young person to understand that they are unique, created by a loving God who has a plan for their lives.

We want to help children and young people develop a deep faith and live the best kind of lives for God. We have all kinds of groups and activities for all kinds of people. All our groups are open to anyone, and we know that you’ll feel welcome at everything we do.

Young people are valued and respected as equal partners in our congregation and are encouraged to worship; learn and serve alongside members of all ages in church life. Bible Class and Youth Fellowship (YF) are a time especially for young people to come together to have fun; make friends and learn about what God is saying to them.

We aim to share the truth with each young person that they are unique; created by a God who loves them and has an amazing plan for their lives. We want to disciple our young people, to build them up with strong foundations for life, to live out that plan. Finally we want to equip them with the skills they will need to go through life, serving Jesus as ‘fishers of men’.
