Career Ministries
For a number of years now St. Columba's Church has sent people all over the world on short and long-term missions. We are glad that God continues to call people away from us. In his book 'The Purpose Driven Church' Rick Warren says that the mark of a healthy church is not its seating capacity but its sending capacity.
We have been sending people on missions to other parts of the UK and abroad for many years now. In addition, a good number of folk have entered the ordained ministry from our church. We pray for them all on a regular basis, supporting these indigenously-grown missionaries as well as other missionaries God has introduced us to over the years.
